INTRODUCTION

The Sylvester Palm (Phoenix Sylvestris) is a very hardy, easy to grow palm. With a slim slender trunk and leaves with silver tint, the palm tree is very drought-resistant. Often reaching 35-feet tall, the Sylvester Palm  works well in both tropical and temperate climates. The leaves typically measure about nine feet long, and are generally gently curved.

 

Though rare to find, the hardiness and quickness of growth make the Sylvester Palm a versatile tree for many climates.
