INTRODUCTION

The beloved and fruitful olive tree is an evergreen, and will slowly grow to a height of just over 30 feet, and a width of around 26 feet. Extremely drought tolerant, the Olea Europaea can thrive in all sorts of soil, provided it is well drained. However, it will not thrive in shade, requiring consistent sunlight to reach its potential.

Of course, the biggest feature of this beautiful tree are the olive fruit that it bears. Used in all sorts of edible products, olives are amongst the most versatile fruits available.
